My goal is to completely customize the portrait experience to your vision and your needs, and it is very important to me that I offer the absolute best value in service and products to you because of that. I want to ensure that each of you leave feeling like you have participated in something very special, an experience that was fun, authentic, and resulted in cherished images that not only make you smile when you look at them, but are quality heirlooms meant to last, heirlooms that will remind generation after generation about your story.
How Much Should I Budget For My Heirloom Portrait Experience?
Creative Session Fees begin at $75 for Petite Sessions> Session fees include personal pre-session consultation, your portrait session, post session creative work to polish your images to ready them for your reveal, and the final special sauce treatment that you expect to see in my work.
Printed products start at $50 and Digital Collections start at $300. Clients, if you value portraiture as art in their homes, you are in the right place, and I am excited to work with you! Most clients plan to invest a minimum of $750 in their custom portrait experience.

Step 1) Planning Session: Because I value your time, the portrait creation process begins by meeting with you personally to discuss your specific needs, so we can get to know one another and create your plan in one appointment. We will develop a portrait creation plan that includes location choice, clothing style preference, and art display goals. During this appointment, you will have the opportunity to view and touch heirloom art products, we can measure the walls in your home, so you can have an idea of what you would like to create, and you can ask questions in order to feel completely comfortable prior to the portrait session. Finally, we will choose your session date and time, along with a date and time for your post session reveal and order appointment. Then, after paying your session retainer and signing your portrait contract, you will be ready for your portrait session! I prefer having these chats in person, but we can work virtually if the situation requires that!
Step 2) Your Session: Let’s have fun! When we meet for your portraits, my goal is for everyone to have a fun and relaxing experience.
This is an opportunity to allow your personalities to shine. My style blends together both photojournalistic lifestyle images with posed imagery, so you can enjoy a nice balance in your final gallery. I will guide you in a way that keeps the session relaxed, authentic, and fun, while giving you enough direction to ensure that your expressions and posture, as well as environmental elements and clothing are aesthetically pleasing.
Step 3) Viewing and Ordering: It is always most productive and efficient (not to mention exciting!) for us to meet in person to reveal your images and to order them, but I recognize that sometimes virtual viewings are the most efficient for you as my client. When your images are SOFT PROOFED (meaning they don’t get the special sauce until you choose your favorites!) and ready, I will send them to you to view in a private gallery for 7 days. During that time, you can select your favorites, and then I request that we make a time to chat on the phone to talk about what you would like to DO with your beautiful image in order to ensure that you get EXACTLY what you are dreaming of!
Step 4) Delivery and Installation: 3-4 weeks after your order appointment (in some cases up to 6 weeks for
items that are hand constructed by my small business vendors), your printed products will be packaged beautifully, ready for you to pick-up, or they will be delivered to you. I also offer complimentary wall hanging service to local clients who wish to have some help installing their new wall art.
