When Tiffany sent me a message asking about a session AFTER the wedding, I was so excited. I don’t shoot weddings, but I LIVE for engagements and post-wedding “Rock The Dress” type shoots. I adore the creative freedom to truly customize a session to fit the couple I am working with, so I was all over this opportunity. Being that Trevor is family, I am blessed that I was able to do this for him and his new bride. Their family has done so much for us since we moved here, and I love that I was able to do this for him.
Being rural, I had some very specific visions for how we would tell their story. Their wedding was full of rustic gorgeousness, complete with a windmill that played center stage as the back drop to their cake at the reception. It was truly magical, and I wanted their session to reflect the obvious love they have for their country life. So, on a gorgeous late Sunday afternoon, I met them out at Trevor’s parents, and we ventured out in the pastures, walked through tall weeds and prairie grasses, led horses down beaten paths, and did our best to avoid getting in the cross hairs of the avid deer hunters that were prowling around that afternoon. Completing our time together was a fabulous sandhills sunset. I always have fun with Trevor’s family and am so happy to be able to get to know Tiffany better. They exude cheerfulness and joy, and we had a great time together.
Trev and Tiff, I hope you enjoy your rustically gorgeous peek at what we created together!
