As we begin our journey through 2012, I find myself absolutely giddy about some changes that are coming, and I wanted to take a moment to share some of those changes with you!
First, one of my 2012 goals is to open up a “Creative Lounge” downtown! I’ve been using my humble home studio for the last few years, and though it serves its purpose, I am beginning to feel limited on what I can create. I guess that means it is time for a new “big girl” space. I look forward to being able serve others with new stylistic approaches in my work, and though the great outdoors is my main studio, having an indoor space in which to create new kinds of art is very exciting to me. It will be wonderful knowing I can transcend the Nebraska weather! Make sure you follow me on Facebook for updates on this new venture!
Second, as I work on new ideas to “keep things fresh”, so to speak, I would LOVE to hear from you! We live in the 21st century, and the photographic industry is changing with the times. I have created a short poll at the end of this post, and I would love it if you would take a moment to provide me with your honest feedback so I can serve you better. My goal is always to provide my clients with the best service, experience, and products out there, and this year will be no exception. Third, I am SO excited to have partnered up with Greater Sand Hills Family Clinic. Soon, you will be seeing some artwork on their walls, and if you recognize some of the faces, it is because they are the shining faces our local community members! I can’t wait to decorate the walls with the beautiful faces of Holt County residents! Also, I have partnered up with them to offer the new, or soon-to-be new, mommies something special in their OB bags! Moms out there will enjoy a free gift in celebration of their special new addition. I’m so pleased to be able to do this for our special families out there.
Fourth, soon, I will be starting a Model Program that will consist of taking applications for various ages. Periodically, I have “special interest” projects, and will need to cast models to help me out with them. These models may be babies, toddlers, tween, teens, or adults, so when I post the application, don’t be shy about applying; my qualifications are pretty simple. 😀 There will be rewards for models who apply and are accepted, so if you are interested in this opportunity and have some time periodically to commit to helping me out, make sure you follow me on Facebook, and watch for the announcement!
Last, I just want to thank my amazing clients for 2 wonderful years in business. I have gone through many of my own changes. Some of those changes brought about “growing pains”, but I have truly loved every moment of the journey. I hope you will consider allowing me to create something special for you this year.
