Between the dark and the daylight, When the night is beginning to lower, Comes a pause in the day's occupation, That is know as the children's hour. I hear in the chamber above me The patter of little feet, The sound of a door that is opened, And voices soft and sweet.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Just over a year ago, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Lisa, Dave, Zach and Zoe. These two are absolutely adorable, and after a year, as with most children, it is hard to believe how they have grown. Though it was last year, Zoe warmed right back up to me. Last year she sat in my lap while I photographed her big brother, and this year, she huddled next to me to stay out of the cold wind. What a little doll. Zach, the typical 1st grade boy, was more of the adventurer, ducking in and out of the trees, stopping periodically to flash me his million watt smile. What a beautiful family!
